Log Boiler - KWB Classicfire 1

Traditional and compact heating

The KWB Classicfire 1 log boiler is the ideal entry model for agricultural companies and owners of single-family houses who own a forest or have access to wood. The central heating is available in the output range of 15/20 kW and wins with its small footprint and convenient operation.

Compact size for small heating rooms

The KWB Classicfire 1 is optimally suited for a small heating room thanks to its compact size. The log boiler can be combined with a small buffer storage tank (1000 l capacity), which also requires very little space. The Classicfire 1 is also an optimal heating solution for people who are redeveloping their house as the log wood boiler is built very low and therefore has its exhaust pipe outlet at a low height. Thanks to this, it is easily installed in older heating rooms with a very low chimney-exhaust pipe connection.

Convenient and efficient heating

It is, for example, possible to easily fill the KWB Classicfire 1 log boiler the traditional way with wood logs of up to half a meter length. The large-sized front door ensures a high comfort level during stoking. Thanks to the 80-litre fuel fill room, the boiler generally only needs to be stoked once or twice a day to heat an average single-family house for a whole day. Here, constant stoking is a thing of the past.

Advantages in detail

Efficient fuel use.

Efficient fuel use

The Classicfire 1 is equipped with a speed-controlled induced draught fan and its combustion is therefore particularly efficient. The induced draught fan is installed at the exhaust pipe outlet and sucks the air through the boiler. The more air is introduced, the higher the output. The Classicfire 1 control system automatically detects whether the system contains sufficient heat, e.g. because the temperature in the buffer storage tank is high enough. If this is the case, the speed of the suction fan is reduced and the boiler output is reduced to 50%. This saves you fuel and money.

Easy ash removal.

Easy ash removal

For the log wood operation, the ash container is not permanently mounted to the log wood boiler. Instead it can be stowed underneath to save space. If required, it can be hooked in directly under the stoking door. The set with cleaning tools comes standard with the KWB Classicfire log wood heating system.

Easy and flexible operation.

Easy and flexible operation

The KWB Classicfire can be operated using the Comfort 4 control system via the colour touchscreen display or alternatively via a dial. The use of the dial is particularly recommended when operating the control with work gloves, right after stoking the boiler with wood. But the intelligent control system makes heating even easier. The Comfort 4 system indicates, for example, how much wood you should refill for optimal operation. The control is also set up for the use of KWB Comfort Online. Using this platform, the boiler can be easily controlled and maintained remotely via smartphone, tablet or PC.
