Pellet storage options overview
Our fuel storage systems for pellets including suitable conveyor systems are particularly flexible and can be adapted exactly to your room layout. Regardless of whether your fuel storage room is right next to the heating, further away or outside of the building – we have the right concept for any situation.
Dry storage room directly adjacent to the heating room
The Pellet Stirrer Plus with up to 3 meters diameter ensures optimal utilisation of storage room volume, does not require a sloping floor and is ideal for square to rectangular storage rooms. The pellets are carefully transported to the boiler via a stirrer system and a robust elbow screw. The extremely quiet conveyor system is maintenance-free, absolutely reliable and requires very little power.
Dry storage room not adjacent to the heating room
The Pellet Stirrer Plus with suction conveyor gives ample flexibility when choosing your storage room. Suction lengths of 25 metres and height differences of up to five meters between heating and storage room can be easily overcome. The Stirrer Plus with up to 3 meters diameter ensures optimal utilisation of storage room volume, does not require a sloping floor and is ideal for square to rectangular storage rooms.
Storage room with sloping floor directly adjacent to the heating room
The KWB conveyor screw in combination with an elbow screw is the ideal solution for an oblong storage room with a sloping floor situated next to the heating room. The conveyor screw is available in various different lengths. The extremely quiet conveyor system is maintenance-free, absolutely reliable and requires very little power.
Storage room with sloping floor not adjacent to the heating room
The KWB conveyor screw with one-point sampling probe and suction conveyance is the ideal solution if you have an oblong storage room with sloping floor, even if the room is situated above, below or further away from the heating room. This conveyor system transports the pellets through a sampling probe via a suction hose to the storage container. Suction lengths of 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres between heating and storage room can be easily overcome.
Storage room next, above or below the heating room
The KWB suction conveyor with 3-point or 8-point sampling probes are ideally suited for oblong or L-shaped storage rooms with sloping floor. This conveyor system transports the pellets from the sampling probes through a switchover unit and a suction hose to the storage container. Suction lengths of 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres between heating and storage room can be easily overcome.
Compact storage in the KWB Pellet Box
The KWB Pellet Box can be placed next to, above or below your heating room. If protected from the weather, it can also be used outdoors or in humid rooms. Thanks to the suction conveyor, hose lengths of 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres between heating and storage rooms can be easily overcome. The KWB Pellet Box is available in different sizes and suitable both for square and rectangular rooms.
Compact storage in the KWB Big Bag right next to the boiler
The KWB Big Bag can be placed right next to the heating or in the room adjacent to it and can even be used if the placement room is humid. The storage container scores points with an optimal room utilization, dust-tight, anti-static fabric with a galvanized frame. The pellets are carefully transported to the boiler using a robust screw. Standard sizes of 2.2 to 10.5 tonnes of pellet filling capacity are available. The KWB Big Bag can also be used in rooms with low ceilings (as of 1.80 meters or approx. 5 feet 11 inches).
Compact storage in the KWB Big Bag with flexible choice of the storage room
With the KWB Big Bag in combination with a suction conveyor, your storage room can be up to 25 meters hose length away from the heating room with a height difference of up to 5 meters. The KWB Big Bag can also be placed outdoors if it is weather-protected. It can also be used in rooms with low ceilings (as of 1.80 meters or approx. 5 feet 11 inches). The KWB Big Bag scores points with an optimal room utilization, dust-tight, anti-static fabric with a galvanized frame. Standard sizes of 2.2 to 10.5 tonnes of pellet filling capacity are available.
Free choice of storage room with storage container
Thanks to the KWB storage container, you can freely choose where to place your storage room. The weekly container can fit up to 500 kg pellets and is filled manually based on consumption. Thanks to the suction conveyor and extraction using a one-point sampling probe, hose lengths of 25 metres and height differences of up to five metres between heating and storage room can be easily overcome.
Compact storage outside of the house
If you have no storage space available in your house, you can also store your pellets outdoors. The KWB Big Bag and the KWB Pellet Box make it possible. Protected from the weather, the container chosen can be placed in a garage or in an adjacent ancillary building. Thanks to the suction conveyor, distances of up to 25 meters and height difference of up to 5 m between pellet storage and heating can be easily overcome.
Compact storage in a buried tank.
If you would like to store the pellets underground, you can use a buried tank. The KWB suction conveyor connects the buried tank with the boiler and can easily cover distances of up to 25 m and height differences of up to 5 m between the buried tank and heating system.
