The KWB Powerfire 1 wood chip biomass boiler and pellet heating system is the ideal central heating for commercial or hotel businesses or heat providers. The heating system compels with its highly flexible and economical combustion and is available in an output range of 150 kW to 300 kW. Full fuel flexibility
The KWB Powerfire 1 wood chip and pellet heating system compels due to its particularly robust design. Its core is the revolving grate system. It is manufactured according to industry standards and made of high-alloy and self-cleaning grate elements. The flexible grate is thus able to work with a large range of fuel qualities. This makes you even more flexible when heating with wood chips or pellets.
Comfortable ash removal
The KWB Powerfire 1 is optionally equipped with a 240-litre ash bin with integrated fill level monitoring. It fits up to 430 litres of ash, thus enabling particularly long intervals between ash emptying. This means your heating system operates with very little hands-on care which saves you time and nerves.
Easy installation thanks to a modular design
The KWB Powerfire 1 wood chip biomass boiler can be disassembled into several modules which permits installation even in tight spaces with ceiling heights as low as 2.2 meters. It is therefore the ideal central heating even for old buildings that are being redeveloped. The heating system can be easily serviced and maintained from above with very little effort and without lifting aids thanks to its movable substructure. High-quality system components reduce wear and tear.

Innovative revolving-grate combustion system
The revolving-grate combustion system is a unique system in which the fuel is pushed sideways into the pre-combustion chamber and conveyed onto a rotary grate. The fuel is transported through the combustion chamber by means of grate rotation and achieves optimal burnout before a special grate cleaning system handles the ash removal.
Lowest power consumption thanks to the fire shutter
The KWB Powerfire 1 is equipped with a level-controlled stoker container that is automatically filled with wood chips from the storage room. This ensures that the combustion system is continuously supplied with fuel. The fire shutter minimizes noise and power consumption.
Maximally robust thanks to the cellular wheel sluice
The KWB Powerfire 1 is optionally equipped with a cellular wheel sluice. The specially formed interior of the cellular wheel sluice ensures high supply quantities even with fuels with low energy content. The cellular wheel sluice offers a drop height of 25 cm and is perfectly suited for large and long wood chips.
Safe heating – remotely
The KWB Comfort Online platform guarantees added convenience and operational reliability. This platform permits easy control and maintenance of the entire heating system remotely via smartphone, tablet or PC. Check up on your heating’s operating status, control heating times and temperatures, and receive notifications and status change via SMS or email. If desired, you can also provide (temporary) access to your heating system to third parties, e.g. your heating installer or KWB customer service.
