Wood gasification boiler - KWB Classicfire

Traditional log wood heating

The KWB Classicfire wood gasification boiler is the ideal central heating system for agricultural and forestry businesses, as well as single- and multi-family house owners that own a forest or have access to wood. It is available in the output range of between 18 and 38 kW and scores points particularly due to its convenient operation.

Convenient and efficient heating

It is, for example, possible to easily fill the KWB Classicfire log wood heating system the traditional way with wood logs of up to half a meter length. The large-sized front door ensures a high comfort level during stoking. Thanks to the 185-litre fuel fill room, the boiler generally only needs to be stoked once a day to heat an average single-family house for a whole day. Here, constant stoking is a thing of the past.

Easy and flexible operation

The KWB Classicfire can be operated using the Comfort 4 control system via the colour touchscreen display or alternatively via a dial. The use of the dial is particularly recommended when operating the control with work gloves, right after stoking the boiler with wood. But the intelligent control system makes heating even easier. The Comfort 4 system indicates, for example, how much wood you should refill for optimal operation. The control is also set up for the use of KWB Comfort Online. Using this platform, the boiler can be easily controlled and maintained remotely via smartphone, tablet or PC.

Easily upgrade to a combi-heating system

The KWB Classicfire log wood boiler can be easily upgraded with a pellet module that is installed on its left side. Upon request, a log wood heating system can thus be turned into the KWB Combifire combination heating system for log wood and pellets. The central heating’s ability to switch between the two fuels is fully automated. If the log wood is running out, the boiler simply switches to heating with pellets.

  • Very long wood-refilling intervals

Advantages in detail

Automatic ignition.

Automatic ignition

The KWB Classicfire or the KWB Combifire are optionally equipped with an automatic ignition. This way, the boiler can be filled with logs and a time can be set for the automatic ignition. This works thanks to KWB’s modern technology which permits a closed heating door during heating. Your home will be cosy and warm regardless of when you return home.

Efficient and clean combustion thanks to the lambda probe.

Efficient and clean combustion thanks to the lambda probe

With the broadband lambda probe, which was specifically developed for biomass heating systems, the combustion is continuously monitored and optimally controlled. The lambda probe controls the fuel supply during the combustion process. A new ceramic ignition element with flame recognition ignites the combustion intermittently within a few minutes. You benefit from low energy consumption and high operational reliability.

KWB modular assembly system.

Straightforward assembly thanks to a modular and easily transportable system

Thanks to the KWB modular assembly system, the boilers can be divided into several modules. So they can be transported in almost every boiler room and mounted in confined spaces. That saves time and money.
