The KWB EmpaAir Revolution Evo 3 is the latest generation of KWB domestic hot water heat pumps. Designed for efficient hot water preparation in homes with one to three households, it can be integrated easily into both new and existing heating systems. It is available with either a 200- or 270-litre storage tank.
Using environmentally friendly propane R290 as its refrigerant, the KWB EmpaAir Revolution Evo 3 offers a future-ready solution with a lower environmental impact. In efficient heat pump operation, it can produce hot water at temperatures of up to 62°C, supporting hygienic domestic hot water preparation.
Make better use of solar power and other heat sources
The integrated controller interface allows surplus electricity from a photovoltaic system to be used specifically for domestic hot water preparation, helping increase the proportion of self-generated energy used on site.
Both storage sizes come with an additional heating coil as standard, allowing a second heat source such as a boiler or solar thermal system to be connected.
Straightforward installation and reliable operation
The KWB EmpaAir Revolution Evo 3 is supplied ready to plug in, making installation particularly straightforward. Adapters for ducted operation or connection to outdoor air are included as standard.
A maintenance-free hybrid impressed-current anode helps protect the storage tank, supporting reliable operation while reducing maintenance requirements.
