Built to last
The KWB EmpaTherm domestic hot water cylinder is primarily designed for single-family homes and compact boiler rooms. It pairs particularly well with a KWB pellet heating system, which heats the water stored in the cylinder for everyday uses such as showering and washing up.
The KWB EmpaTherm is available in the following sizes:
- 200-litre domestic hot water cylinder
- 300-litre domestic hot water cylinder
- 500-litre domestic hot water cylinder
Even when you have guests staying, there is no need to worry about running out of hot water. Its high draw-off capacity means the cylinder can supply large quantities of domestic hot water quickly.
The KWB EmpaTherm is a durable, high-quality product. Its premium enamel lining forms a glass-like protective layer on the inside of the cylinder, making it resistant to variations in water hardness, conductivity and pH.
Where the water is particularly hard, we recommend cleaning the cylinder every four to five years. The easily accessible cleaning flange at the bottom allows you to carry out this maintenance yourself. Any limescale that has accumulated over time can simply be removed, helping the KWB EmpaTherm maintain maximum efficiency.
KWB EmpaTherm Solar: domestic hot water cylinder with solar coil
The KWB EmpaTherm is available with connections for a solar thermal system and can therefore be used as the KWB EmpaTherm Solar. Free solar energy is used to heat the domestic hot water. When there is insufficient solar energy available, the boiler starts automatically to provide additional heat.
