Easy installation, high output
KWB log wood boilers are supplied either as a complete unit or, thanks to the KWB modular and easily transportable system, in manageable modules that can be brought into virtually any boiler room with ease. With filling chambers of up to 185 litres, among the largest in their class, our log wood heating systems offer a particularly high level of convenience. The KWB Classicfire can even be filled with half-metre logs, allowing an average single-family home to be heated reliably with just one or two loads per day.
Simple operation and online control
KWB log wood boilers can be operated conveniently via a touchscreen that also indicates when more wood should be added. Alternatively, they can be controlled using a practical dial, which is ideal when you are still wearing gloves after refilling the boiler. Our log wood heating systems can also be controlled and maintained remotely using a smartphone, tablet or PC. The KWB Classicfire wood gasification boiler is optionally available with automatic ignition in the combustion chamber.
Can be expanded into a combination boiler
The KWB Classicfire log wood boiler is equipped as standard with a connection for a pellet module and can therefore be converted easily into a log wood and pellet combination boiler at any time. This gives you the convenience of fully automatic operation. When no more logs are added, for example while you are away on holiday, the boiler switches automatically to pellet operation and continues to provide reliable heat.

What does a log wood heating system consist of?
Fuel filling chamber
KWB log wood heating systems feature particularly large filling chambers with capacities of up to 185 litres, among the largest in their class. This generally means that an average single-family home only needs to be supplied with logs once or twice a day.
High-temperature vortex combustion chamber
The KWB high-temperature vortex combustion chamber ensures particularly efficient and clean combustion. The intensive swirling of the combustion gases reduces emissions and helps maintain a consistently high level of efficiency.
Self-cleaning heat exchanger
A self-cleaning heat exchanger transfers the generated heat efficiently to the heating water. This helps maintain a consistently high boiler efficiency while keeping maintenance requirements to a minimum.
Storage system
Wood heating systems operate particularly efficiently when combined with buffer storage tanks. These absorb excess heat, store it and release it to the heating system or domestic hot water supply when required. With KWB, you receive everything from a single source, from the boiler and combustion chamber to the matching accessories.
