Pellet heating systems and pellet boilers
Low costs, high comfort, virtually no emissions
Taking comfort further
Pellet boilers are an efficient and environmentally friendly heating solution that reduces emissions and helps lower heating costs. Innovative KWB pellet boilers combine high efficiency, user-friendly operation and optimised combustion. When combined with a heat pump or solar thermal system, they form a flexible hybrid system that reduces the use of fossil fuels and provides a sustainable heat supply.

Benefits of pellet heating systems
Easy installation
KWB pellet heating systems can be brought into and installed in virtually any boiler room with ease, even where access is narrow or difficult. This is made possible by the KWB modular and easily transportable system. The pellet boiler is delivered in manageable modules that are carried into the basement individually and assembled directly in the boiler room. This saves the installer time and helps prevent damage, as the weight and dimensions of the individual components are easy to handle.
Fully automatic and convenient
With a KWB pellet heating system, you can simply sit back and relax. During operation, it is just as convenient and straightforward as an oil or gas heating system. The pellet boiler is supplied with fuel fully automatically, ignition takes place independently and the system also handles almost all cleaning by itself. Between the recommended annual service intervals, the ash box generally only needs to be emptied once or twice a year. In the convenience version, it is mobile and equipped with a practical pull-out handle.
Clean and efficient
KWB pellet boilers offer particularly low fuel costs and CO₂ emissions. The patented underfeed burner system ensures particularly clean and efficient combustion. The pellets burn out completely, no additional dust is stirred up and the ash is transported automatically into the ash box. Modern lambda probe technology continuously monitors and optimally controls combustion, ensuring high efficiency, low emissions and low energy costs.

What does a pellet heating system consist of?
Pellet boiler with combustion chamber and heat exchanger
The robust casing and heat-resistant combustion chamber form the heart of the system. The fuel is supplied safely and precisely via the stoker screw and cellular wheel sluice, while burn-back protection ensures a high level of operational reliability. Automatic ash removal and a self-cleaning heat exchanger provide efficient heat transfer with minimal maintenance.
Pellet storage room
A pellet boiler requires a storage room into which the pellets are blown fully automatically and virtually dust-free. When replacing an oil heating system, the old tank can be removed and the room converted into a pellet store, generally with sufficient capacity for an annual supply. Even damp basements are not a problem, as the pellets can alternatively be stored in a KWB Pellet Big Bag or a metal storage tank.
Conveyor technology
A discharge system that transports the pellets directly to the boiler is already included. This means that boiler rooms located further away can also be supplied reliably. With KWB, you receive a safe complete solution in proven quality, made in Austria.
Buffer storage tank
When combined with a pellet heating system, a buffer storage tank helps achieve high efficiency by storing excess heat and releasing it again when required. This allows the boiler to operate within its optimum output range and reduces the number of starts, saving energy and extending its service life. At the same time, sufficient heating energy and domestic hot water remain available at all times.
