Pellet storage and extraction systems at a glance
KWB pellet storage systems and their matching conveyor systems are highly adaptable and can be tailored to the space available. Whether your storage room is directly beside the heating system, further away or outside the building, there is a suitable solution for every layout.
Dry storage room directly beside the heating system
The KWB Pellet StirrerPlus, available in diameters of up to 3 metres, makes optimum use of the storage room without the need for a sloping floor. It is particularly well suited to square and rectangular rooms. The stirrer and robust elbow screw transfer the pellets gently to the boiler. The conveyor system is exceptionally quiet, maintenance-free and reliable, with very low power consumption.
Dry storage room away from the heating room
The KWB Pellet StirrerPlus with suction conveyor gives you greater freedom when choosing the storage room. It can cover suction distances of up to 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres between the pellet store and the heating room. With a diameter of up to 3 metres, the stirrer makes optimum use of square and rectangular storage rooms and does not require a sloping floor.
Storage room with a sloping floor directly beside the heating system
The KWB conveyor screw with elbow screw is ideal for a long, narrow storage room with a sloping floor beside the heating room. The conveyor screw is available in different lengths. The system is exceptionally quiet, maintenance-free and reliable, with very low power consumption.
Storage room with a sloping floor away from the heating room
The KWB conveyor screw with a single-point sampling probe and suction conveyor is designed for long, narrow storage rooms with a sloping floor, including rooms located above, below or further away from the heating room. The pellets are collected by the probe and carried through a suction hose to the storage container. The system can cover suction distances of up to 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres.
Storage room beside, above or below the heating room
The KWB suction conveyor with 3- or 8-point sampling probes is particularly well suited to long, narrow or L-shaped storage rooms with a sloping floor. The probes collect the pellets, which are then routed through a switch unit and carried along a suction hose to the storage container. The system can cover suction distances of up to 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres.
Compact storage in the KWB pellet box
The KWB pellet box can be installed beside, above or below the heating room. When protected from the weather, it is also suitable for outdoor installation or use in damp rooms. The suction conveyor can cover distances of up to 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres between the pellet box and the heating system. Available in several sizes, the KWB pellet box is suitable for both square and rectangular rooms.
KWB Pellet Big Bag beside the heating system
The KWB Pellet Big Bag can be installed directly beside the heating system or in the adjoining room and is also suitable for damp conditions. It makes efficient use of the available space and features dust-tight, antistatic fabric supported by a galvanised frame. A robust screw transfers the pellets gently to the boiler.
Standard capacities range from 2.2 to 10.5 tonnes of pellets. The KWB Pellet Big Bag can also be installed in rooms with ceilings as low as 1.80 metres.
KWB Pellet Big Bag with flexible storage room positioning
Combined with a suction conveyor, the KWB Pellet Big Bag can be installed up to 25 metres from the heating room, with height differences of up to 5 metres. When protected from the weather, it can also be installed outdoors and is suitable for rooms with ceilings as low as 1.80 metres.

Flexible storage location with a storage container
A KWB storage container allows you to choose the location of the pellet store more freely. The weekly storage container holds up to 500 kg of pellets and is filled by hand as required. A suction conveyor with a single-point sampling probe can cover distances of up to 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres between the pellet store and the heating room.
Everything in one room
The KWB storage container, with a capacity of up to 300 kg, is ideal for combination heating systems where pellets are topped up by hand as required. All the main components can therefore be housed together in one compact space. The system can later be upgraded with automatic storage room extraction.
Compact outdoor storage
Where there is no space to store pellets inside the building, the KWB pellet box with Geo-Cover provides an outdoor solution. The suction conveyor can bridge distances of up to 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres between the pellet store and the heating system.
Compact underground storage
A buried pellet tank provides an underground storage option. The KWB suction conveyor connects the tank to the boiler and can cover distances of up to 25 metres and height differences of up to 5 metres between the buried tank and the heating system.
